How to use the Wordle Helper
- Type the word you guessed in Wordle and press Add.
- Tap each tile until it shows the same color as in your game: gray (not in the word), yellow (in the word, wrong spot) or green (right spot).
- The list below updates with every word that still fits. Common words come first in bold, because they are the most likely answers.
- Pick a suggested next guess, or any word from the list, and repeat.

Does the Wordle Helper show today’s answer?
No. It doesn’t know the daily answer. It only lists the words that still fit the colors you entered, so you still solve the puzzle yourself.
What’s the difference between this and the 5 Letter Word Finder?
The 5 Letter Word Finder takes known positions, letters to include and letters to exclude. The Wordle Helper reads whole guesses with their colors, so it also knows where a yellow letter can’t be, and it handles repeated letters the way Wordle colors them.
How are the suggested next guesses chosen?
From the words that are still possible, we suggest the ones that test the most common unknown letters. That splits the remaining words fastest. Suggestions always fit your colors, so they work in Hard Mode too.
What is the best Wordle starting word?
Words with common, distinct letters do best. By our letter counts over common five-letter words, top picks are AROSE, ARISE, RAISE, STARE, ALERT.
